The LNAT essay focuses on testing your understanding of a subject at a high level and what your thoughts are on that subject. Keeping up with current affairs and understanding them will put you at an advantage when you select and write your argument for the essay title you choose. You will be choosing a position on a subject that may be discussed in current affairs and newspapers and defending.
You will analyse sample LNAT questions and answers to identify successful ways of approaching questions, as well as evaluating how to gain maximum marks. As the LNAT consists of two sections, you will revise the skills required in each section in order to learn how best to tackle different questions, construct arguments and maximise your score.
Unlike the multiple choice questions, the LNAT essay is not marked by the assessment centre. It is sent along with the LNAT score to universities you choose 24 hours after you finish the test.
